New Variable-speed Drives by Parker: Highly Featured, Economical Solutions for Motor Control
These innovative AC drives are highly featured, economical solutions that are designed for everyday, general-purpose motor-control applications. They benefit users with their simplicity of use and their high dependability.
While the Parker AC15 series comprises compact drives for limited-power-range tasks, the AC20 group consists of advanced units with high system compatibility.
Reduced time & effort
The AC15 series is built for motor-control tasks that require speed or torque control within the power range of 0.37 to 37 kilowatts. Each drive is an optimized solution for equipment manufacturers seeking a compact, cost-efficient drive without sacrificing performance, with its compact dimensions and features typically associated with drives of higher specification, like Safe Torque Off, built-in Ethernet communications, sensor less vector mode, and a full 150 per cent overload for one minute.
AC15 is designed to reduce the time and effort necessary to install, set up, and commission it, with its user-friendly integrated keypad and application macros or its powerful DSE Lite software tool and rich function block set. Minimal wiring requirements and easy-to-access terminals make the AC15 fast and simple to install. With proven technology and manufacturing techniques, the AC15 is engineered to deliver consistently high levels of performance to ensure maximum productivity.
The AC20 advanced compact drive is a highly featured model that offers speed or torque control in a power range from two to 250 horsepower. Also available from Wainbee, it houses features generally associated with system drives, such as sensorless vector mode for control of Permanent Magnet and AC induction motors, encoder feedback and input/output expansion option cards, Safe Torque Off, and an onboard Ethernet port that supports major industrial Ethernet protocols.
Like the AC15 line, the AC20 series offers the advantages of simplicity and high reliability. It is also designed for system compatibility, with a compact footprint that enables installation into existing spaces, while the input/output count is chosen to allow optimum flexibility. The internal block diagram is fully featured to allow replacement of legacy Parker inverters.
